7 Anti-Ageing Supplements Backed by Human Trials (Not Just Mice)

1. Vitamin D3 + K2

NHS guidance already recommends vitamin D for UK adults in autumn and winter. Human trials link low vitamin D status to bone loss, falls risk and immune function in older adults. 2. Omega-3 (EPA/DHA)

Omega-3 fish oil is the most studied longevity-adjacent supplement in humans. Large trials (REDUCE-IT, VITAL) show modest cardiovascular benefits, especially for triglyceride reduction and arrhythmia risk in people with low baseline intake. It is not a fountain of youth, but the cardiac data is real.

3. Magnesium Glycinate
