About LongevityTortoise
Slow, steady and evidence-led.
What We Do
LongevityTortoise translates peer-reviewed research on ageing into plain English for UK readers. We cover human trials, animal studies, biomarkers of ageing and the science behind popular supplements such as NMN, NAD+ precursors, resveratrol, quercetin, spermidine and senolytics.
Our mascot is an old tortoise with a cane for a reason: the best longevity strategies are usually boring, consistent and slow. We do not promise miracle cures or 200-year lifespans.
How We Work
- Every article cites peer-reviewed papers, preprints or official regulatory statements.
- We flag conflicts of interest, industry-funded studies and preclinical-only evidence.
- We update posts when new trials or regulatory guidance is published.
- We do not give personalised medical advice.
Affiliate Links
Some pages contain affiliate links to supplement retailers. When you click those links and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission. This helps cover research and hosting costs. It does not change the price you pay and it does not influence our editorial judgements.
